Good morning everyone!
I hope you guys are having a good Monday!
Sorry for not blogging yesterday! I was packing all day with hubby and didn't feel good at night! I had extremely painful pain in my mid section so it was an early night with a hot bottle on my tummy and 2 Advils!
I won't even describe what I ate yesterday because I wasn't really paying attention at all to my calories and indulge everything!!
So today is my start over day/month of may! I did weight myself and gained 2lbs! oh boy... But that's not that bad I can loose this 2 lbs quickly!
Breakfast this morning was coffee and fibre bar! The usual ;)
Mid day snack was 2 cups of coffee somehow I was very sleepy this morning and opted for coffee instead of a snack! lol
Lunch was spaghetti sauce over 2 handful of spinach and a side of hearts of palm!! Yum <3
Since hubby is not home this week dinner is going to be easy an quick!!
Chicken noodle soup it is! And a side of 100 calorie popcorn!! :)))) yum!!!

Late morning call*
Somehow yesterday I wasn't able to close my eyes early even though we were in bed at around 9pm!!
After tossing around a million times I finally decided to close my eyes and count sheeps!!
Breakfast was around lunch time and I had a coffee with 2 eggs Benedictines and a light chia seeds sprinkle...
Hubby and I got ready and headed to the grocery store #daily routine and picked up what we needed only! We are focusing on emptying our fridge as much as possible before moving so we will have less to carry since its a 3 hour drive from where we reside now!
Grocery list:
-romaine salad
- coriander
- kale salad
- chilli peppers
-fruits ( watermelon )
-virgin Cesar mix
We stop to finalize a few things for the move!! We are so excited and so ready to move in our new place...
Missed my favorite cousin this morning on Skype!!Skype date tomorrow for sure!
We ate the macaroni left overs for lunch and we settled for some black tortilla with a side of guacamole and spicy salsa (homemade)
Back to some more packing xoxo

Papers signed!
Bonjour tous le monde!!!
Drum roll...WE SIGNED THE PAPERS!!!! :) now we have the final paper to sign and were moving! The feeling you get when you sign this your life away LOL! Priceless
couldn't be more proud of us!!!! :)
we also had an appointment with the moving company to give them our deposit for the move!
Since we were downtown we stopped at forever21, I bought a dress online but took the Large and when I tried it on it was way to big around my mid section! So I am happily going to exchange it or find something that fits perfectly! Lol can't still believe I fit in a medium :))))
We also stopped at my favorite smoked meat restaurant and had a real Montreal smoked meat!! Yum! We walked a lot today ( as per my pedometer ) so why not?
This is the best smoked meat place I've ever been too! If you guys are looking for a good smoked meat place you have to go to *le roi du smoked meat* I always have a medium smoked meat sandwich with fries and a pickle on the side!
After that we shopped around for furnitures and looked around for house stuff! Right now our main focus are custom made blinds!! I hope we'll get a good deal!!
Snack was my fibre bar since I was too nervous this morning and only had a coffee.. Love having chocolate when I know I'm within my calorie log !
Sadly I went back go my old log application..I was used to it and learning a new app isn't on my list right now lol
Had a late carb macaroni dinner tonight! It was really good but oh boy!!! Workout workout and more workout on my mind!!!

The feeling I have when I wake up with hubby!! Indescribable!!!
Today is day-1!! Tomorrow we are signing our before last paper for the house! We are moving in less than a month and we are almost ready! Our packing is moving along!

Lunch was with hubby today :D yay*
Had a tuna flavored can on a organic rice cracker! Delicious!! On the side I had a avocado & tomato salad with salt and pepper! A quick and healthy lunch!
Mid afternoon snack was a cup of jasmine tea and a handful of gluten free pretzels! I needed something to hold me until tonight dinner since we were leaving to Montreal!
I also packed some healthy food choices for breakfast because it's the only meal that I can't figure out to be healthy when I'm away from home!
Fibre bars is it and some chia seeds!
Bags are packed and we are ready to take on the road!!!
We stopped at Tim Hortons on the way there and picked up 2 ham sandwiches for hubby and I and a coffee each!
Dessert was 2 chocolate timbits each!
Tim Hortons is very quick and fresh! Love it!

Humpty Dumpty day!
Morning everyone! Today I stayed home wasn't feeling good and had a annoying background migraine that didn't want to go away!
Woke up at 1pm..this neo citron is seriously good! I knocked out until then! Did me some good to rest my mind! Even kitty slept with me!
I really wanted to do some yoga today but I can't seem to focus on one thing for long! My poor brain is tired! So I decided to continue packing but at my own pace and take it easy!
breakfast was a glass of water with 1 Advil and a warm neo citron! Snoozed off until early afternoon and woke up starving! I had those already seafood platter! (180kcal) which I craved and decided to add a big tomato salad on the side! this was very good and filling!!
I also had a glass of Icy sparkling water!! Yum
Didn't have a mid day snack today.. Didn't feel hungry.. I honestly was scared to eat when I'm not hungry especially when I'm sick cause that would be an automatic vomit situation ( sorry guys!)
dinner is my favorite ;) wonton soup! This time I steamed them and added a side of bok choy!! amazingly good!!
Hope you guys had a good Wednesday! More rain to come for us!
And relax time for me with my drop dead diva! Xoxo

Drop dead diva*
I cant believe that we never tried this Netflix thing! It has so many good shows/movies! Since I finished lipstick jungle season 2 last week I needed to find something else.. I totally was going through lipstick jungle withdrawal lol
Drum roll...drop dead diva...it is!!! This show is so funny! So far so good!
Went to bed late yesterday because of it! Just saying* (lol)
Breakfast was the same as yesterday! Fiber bar with my coffee mug!
Had a cheese string for my mid morning breakfast
Lunch was a very good tuna salad and a side or oikos Greek yogurt with chia seeds all over it!! So good!
Mid day snack was 20roasted Almonds!
I don't know but lately I've been craving cheese!!! Maybe I'm not getting enough calcium and sodium! I guess tonight I'll have something cheesy!!
Dinner is: a BIG glass of 1% milk and a slice of bread with some melted cheese on it! ( a cheese string cut in a few pieces ) and a big salad on the side with raisins and almonds!! Delicious!
Workout today: 30 mins of yoga <3
Back to packing....

Helloooo Monday!
Day-4 for our weekend trip to Montreal! We are signed the before final paper this Friday! We are beyond excited!!!How am I suppose to focus @ work this week? Lol
Breakfast this morning was fast an filling! I had breakfast at work with my coffee mug and 100kcal fibre bar! These little things are filling and unlike the other ones very tasty! ( peanut butter and chocolate ) if there's chocolate I'm there! lol
Mid day snack was tapioca and one teaspoon of chia seeds all over it! Yum
Lunch was very simple! I had a tuna can ( garlic and hot pepper ) with a romaine salad! I added a few cherry tomatoes and half a avocado!
Mid afternoon snack is other avocado half!
Spinning after work! Goal check! I was planning of doing some yoga but spinning is better!!
Dinner is 3 thin slices of pepperoni pizza on whole wheat! It's been so long and with every bite!

Snow in April?
Woke up this morning to some snow on the ground..thankfully the rained washed it off by the afternoon! Snow in April?
Breakfast was good and warm for this cold weather! Hot oats!! It's been a long time! Hubby had homemade croissant with cream cheese and one of those delicious smoked sausage!
Since my laptop broke down I use the Blogger app to write my blogs! Very easy to use! Which I had more options but I'm fine with it!
Lunch was half of a German spicy hot dog from the marché! Sorry guys I had my phone in the car ( it needed to charge )!
Hubby left this evening for work and is coming back later this week so dinner is going to be plain and simple! Lol
Since its cold outside I'm going to settle for wonton soup! It's my favorite!

Easy breezy morning*
7:50am I'm up and awake to start this day!! Spinning class this morning was a killah but worth 45mins of pain!
The class was at 9am, I made sure to eat something before..had two hard boiled eggs and a cup of coffee!
I figured out a way to boil them perfectly! Once the water bubbles up turn the fire off and Let it sit for about 10mins..tadah!!! Perfect eggs!
On our way back home from my class hubby was craving Macdonald! ( how could he ?! ) lol I got myself a medium coffee and he got himself a big fat breakfast! Lol
Got home and settled down on viber ( amazing long distance and free calls/texts with my sister from another mamah!
45mins later....
Went to Costco and loblaws and got our grocery done! They had a fundraiser for sick kids and we filled up a bag of food for them<3 makes me feel good to give back!
Lunch was half of the best smoked sausage I've ever had! It actually wa on special at Costco today $10.99 and you get about 6 big sausages!! They are already cooked and all you have to do is warm them up on the barbecue or oven we also added an organic grain mustard and a side of cherry tomato salad! Yum!
The afternoon went by very fast..we stayed in bed all day and watched movies on Netflix!
Porc curry on the menu tonight with a 1/4cup of rice!! It's been a long time!

Pouring rain*
TGif everyone!!!
Love it when it's raining perfect day to get back in the gym and reboost myself!! I got the new Jillian Michael podcast that I haven't listened to yet and I got my gym bag ready in the morning!!
I also signed up on Peertrainer & calorie counter ( livestrong ) which I found amazing!!! Everyday I get a motivational email to push myself an keep my diet where it's suppose to be!! Today I made a 7 day goal to focus on my lifestyle (diet)!!
I
Somehow my new calorie counter put me at 1212kcal a day! The goo thing about counting your calories is that you can eat whatever you want but on a budget and I leaned to eat smaller portion! Even though I make myself a big plate I can't finish my plate I finally know how to recognize when I'm full!!!! Yay!!!
Breakfast this Morning juicy!! One medium orange and sprinkled 1 tablespoon of chia seed all over it, fibre caramel (100kcal) granola bar and 2 cups of coffee!!
In between I had my g2 blueberry juice that I bought yesterday at the grocery store...about 46 kcal and very tasty I miss drinking juice!! I am still looking for a low sugar,low calorie juice and I haven't found anything yet so all I allow myself to drink is water and low calorie Gatorade!
Lunch was warm for this rainy day today! Wonton soup with Bok choy added to it! I didn't have anymore cilantro anymore which sucked because I love the Taste of it! Hubby also warned up a 2ounce burger (leftover from yesterdays dinner) which was good!
I snacked on my friends snack on my late break she brought cucumber with salt and pepper from home! Had about 1/4 just to fill me up before the gym!
My goal today is gym gym gym!!! I'm still sick coughing, runny nose, headache but I'm going to the gym!!!
Did I say I was going to the gym? Lol
30 mins of incline power walk, I couldn't stay in the elliptical today I was coughing way to much and my gym pants kept falling off!! Lol
Tonight we decided to stay home since I have to wake up early for spinning tomorrow morning and Skype date early after my class!
We decided to make rice spring rolls for dinner....
I had about 3 small ones and hubby had 3 mediums! Yum*
Here Is the recipe:
1 rice paper
Homemade salmon tartare
Avocado
Mango
Spinach noodles
It is so delicious and filling!!
We also stopped at the liquor store and got some sake for hubby and picked up a skinny girl margarita!
This drink is absolutely amazing! It is so low in calories and has a good taste to it! Summer is gonna be good for me ;)!! Also I saw that she has a skinny girl wine line which will be amazing! Can't wait for it to come out in Quebec!
This afternoon Hubby accidentally stepped on my laptop screen today and it's not working anymore... I had an android tablet that I never use and now I have to figure it out! Such a sad day! Si weird how we get attach to electronics?! This time I'm going to use what I have and wait to get invest into a good laptop for my birthday (october) gives me enough time to save the cash for it too!
Anyways my darlings I'm off to bed alarm is set for 7:30am for my spinning class!

Keep Calm and Dream Big*
Happy Thursday Everyone!!!
Snooze...Snooze...Snooze...Turn off alarm.. Woke up in a rush.. This cold got me going crazy! I need my sleep and I can't sleep properly at night... Neo Citron it is tonight!!
Luckily I got to work at 7:59am!lol
Breakfast was a small tapioca service 70kcal with 2 cups of coffee and 1/4 1% milk...
It was very quiet at work so I took care of some moving paper work eh oui!
Confirmed my last day of work today.. This is bitter sweet for me.. I will miss my friends and my routine habit everyday but this is a new beginning and I am only looking forward to it!!
Lunch was simple.. Wonton soup hubby picked up a subway for him..I get frustrated that men can eat anything they want and yet they don't gain A POUND!! If I would eat out everyday...I would gain so much weight...If you're a man and you're reading this consider yourself lucky!!
Since my cold is still here.. I can't workout!!! and to be honest I am starting to be comfortable with it which is not a good sign.. I decided to change my food log application which I am in love with only because I feel stuck and can't seem to loose the last 15lbs!!! I signed up to daily motivational quote and blogs!! I need to bring my motivation and weight loss determination back up where I was couple weeks ago!!!
We wanted to go for dinner today but then we opted to eat at home and keep the money that we would've spend today for the weekend..We are having home made cheeseburger.. and I am not having the bun but a organic rice cracker with it!!
bun=210kcal compare to rice cracker:50kcal!! And again this is just a moment on the lips...- Like I read today in one of those blogs I subscribed I have the ability to say yes and no..and right not I can't make any more excuses!! This is my life so that mean my choices!! I want to be healthy!!! - continuing the menu with home made guacamole and gluten free tortilla chips ( that's about 20 chips for 50kcal) and a whole cucumber cut in pieces with salt and pepper! This is a very healthy and satisfying dinner!!

Happy Monday Wednesday everyone!!!
Felt to start my week on a Wednesday, but glad we're hump day today!
I am tired though I have a lot of things to get done since we're moving in less than a month! Today I confirmed my last day at work, I am going to miss everyone here and the city but again this is a new beginning and it's for the best!
It was so hard to get up this morning especially when I went to bed around midnight yesterday! Snoozed all the way to 7:15am…then rushed in the shower got ready even managed 3 min to sit and drink a small cup of coffee and rushed out of the door…
Work today was quiet so I was able to get a lot of paper work & calls regarding our move done… I found the perfect moving company that will do it for really cheap, I'm happy I waited.

Breakfast this morning was simple since I was in a rush... Coffee mug ready & my 100 kcal fibre bar. Total of 150kcal
We were lazy and didn't have anything quick to make at home so we opted for Tim Hortons and got (yet again) egg salad sandwich with 3 strawberry timbits and a coffee…

I am debating whether I should workout today because I am Extremely tired and Due to the unforeseen cold weather I didn't bring any coat when I was in Montreal and My cold is slightly coming back!!
Will see after I get home maybe I'll go later on to busy my mind... When I feel blue I turn on the Jillian Michaels podcast and it's honestly magic she is such a good mentor and a true motivator!! LOVE HER!

So sorry about not posting anything yesterday, my day was very very very busy.. Won't happen again I promise! :)
Boy Can I say that I already love my new place and the city where we are moving, we went in to sign some paperwork and meet with our designer :) Even talking about it makes me feel warm and fuzzy**
We also celebrated hubbys aunt birthday and got her a big cream cheese cake (oh my) and like I previously wrote we ordered Chinese food.. man…man..man… can't seem to eat right when I'm not home! It's so hard.. But Since I didn't have a big breakfast in the morning and just an egg salad sandwich I guess this time was fine!

Beautiful day outside!!! 31 degrees all day!! Can you believe it!!!
I promised myself last year that I will not complain when we have a nice weather because when winter comes along its just way to cold my little body!
Breakfast was coffee and half of a Tim Hortons egg salad sandwich. I had an appointment downtown and was there for the whole afternoon! Once it was done I was seriously hungry lol and If you guys haven't heard about theMontreal traffic Oh boy!!! Took us about 30 mins to get downtown with the crazy traffic!! Insane..
We went to my favourite Mexican restaurant *3 Amigos * the best Mexican Restaurant in Montréal and very affordable! We were able to sit down and enjoy our meal and get back on the road after traffic hours! We got back home at around midnight and went to bed 30 min later..

Half Day
Woke up at 6am this morning and got ready for work! I am going in for 3 hours and then off to Montreal! for a day and a half!
Breakfast was yucky this morning..I attempted to boil some eggs in a rush and it I happen not to leave it in for long so the yolk wasn't eatable ( hate it when it's runny ) so I ended up just eating the white and had a cup of coffee! On my way out to work I grabbed a 100kcal fibre bar just in case I got hungry!
Mid morning snack was a cup f decaffeinated coffee.. I didn't have time to eat anything in between my calls!
Hubby picked me up at 11am and we went home and got our stuff ready for Montreal and were out of the door at noon! Not bad!
We picked up lunch on our way..Tim Hortons was the easiest no fat added lunch!
Me: egg salad sandwich, 3 strawberries timbits and half of hubby's iced cappuccino
Hubby: ham&swiss sandwich,3 strawberries timbits and half of a small iced cappuccino.
This was a really good and healthy lunch but boy that was high on calories! (690kcal)
I think I'm gonna go for a run once we get to Montreal! lol more like a I WILL!
We are going to stay at his grandmas for a night until we get back home!
She is so funny and we just love spending time with her! Can't wait to be move in our home already so we can be close to family!!

Dimanche Eh Hop!
Happy Sunday everyone!
Got a lot of things done yesterday night and today! We went on a crazy cleaning rampage!! lol We got about half of our place packed in boxes and some of it in the garbage bin! My motto is that if I haven't used nor seen it in a year it goes directly to the garbage bin without thinking! I can't emotionally attached myself to furniture's or objects if not I wouldn't be able to walk throughout the house lol
Woke a bit late today and had a skype day with my favorite cousin of all times!!We then went to get some stuff for our trip to Montreal this week! We got home late afternoon and we relaxed a bit.. The weather is so beautiful, we opened up all of the windows and the door to let the fresh summer breeze in the house!
I still feel a bit sick and I still can't work out... :( So sad.. I did gain 2lbs and Right now I have another 15-20lbs to loose before our big trip!! I recently created an account on Netflix and I AM TOTALLY OBSESSED with Lipstick Jungle!!!! ( Even tho there is only 2 seasons.. which makes me sad when I think about it )
Breakfast this morning was very simple.. Had about 3 cups of coffee with a Montreal bagel and some light cream cheese that I bought at this cute bakery -Les petits oignons- Hubby had 2 cups of coffee with a Smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel! Yum!
Lunch villa medina shish taouk plate minus the potatoes... and Hubby was craving KFC so he had a small french fries and popcorn chicken with a side of gravy!
To be honest we had lunch around 3pm and I wasn't hungry... Hubby bought these Chinese rice noodles that he wanted to make for the longest time.. He decided to make them today with some soy sauce, hoisin sauce, ginger, coriander, thin slices of lean red meat , bok choy and broccoli! I had a bite of it but didn't have a plate of my own cause I was still full from lunch!
We are going to focus on the packing and I've got some laundry to do for the week!

Smells like spring*
Hello Everyone!!
Hubby and I slept in today and woke up at 10:30am! We both had a busy week at work and after getting our beauty sleep we woke up energized and ready to take on the day!
Hubby got the coffee ready while I started some laundry and cleaned up the bedroom!
Breakfast: Montreal bagel, light cream cheese , capers and smoked salmon! Delicious!
I only had half of a bagel and hubby had my other half plus his bagel :)
After getting ready we went to Costco even tho we have a lot of food in the fridge at the moment..I needed to pick up Kirkland dryer sheets! They are such a good deal that I couldn't pass out! 500 sheets for $8.99! Come on this is a good deal!!
We also picked up:
- Steaks
- mini tomatoes
- bok choy
Lunch was egg salad sandwich from costco and had 3 chocolate timbits on the side with a water bottle! Wow they are so good and so bad for you!
Since I only have about 500kcal for the rest of the day I will be sipping on some organic green tea and wait for dinner to be ready!
We are having steaks and bok choy! Yum!!

C'est Vendredit!!
Felt nice to wake up in the morning and able to breath through my nose! lol This medicine is working!!Yes!!!! I'm a fighter :) (knock on wood)
Breakfast was again the egg bun leftover with some brown sugar on it ( 1/4 teaspoon) and a cup of coffee! I didn't have any more milk at home so I had black coffee!! I took the time to sit down and finish my coffee while looking at the birdies with my kitty in the backyard!! Love to hear them it bring summer to my heart!! :) ( I know so cheesy*)
Its Friday the 13th today.. I don't believe in it one bit! It's just a regular day like the other ones and Hubby is coming back today!! I can't wait to be with him!! He is suppose to be here late afternoon..
So my plan for today will be to go home clean up a bit and get ready for a jog outside? or a power walk!
It will help me get back in the game for my marathon training plus I can't stay at home with this beautiful weather!!! Hubby got my one of the those Iphone/Ipod holders for my jog.. I was scared to buy it at first because I read some reviews that the product would fall out of it and never stay in especially for long runs..Since I have it I've used it about 3 times and I absolutely love it!! I love the fact that I can still use the touch screen with the protector on!!
Lunch today was at my friends house, she made a sweet potato soup ( with ginger,hot pepper and carrot ) it was very good and really tasty! Since I'm sick I rather eat soup cause it feels nice instead of having a big lunch! Again I didn't finish my bowl but at least I had something consistent...
We also walked to her place and walked back to work! It was a bit windy but felt really good to be outside! In total we walked about 30 mins at and walked at a pretty good pace!
Hubby was here at the end of my shift!! It felt good to see him at home with me :)
Since he went to bed late yesterday and I'm still sick so we decided to take a nap for a few hours and get back up for dinner later or warm up something easy in the fridge and go for a nice walk! It's beautiful out*

Snoozy
I feel out of the weather today! Nose is red as the a clowns nose and kleenex boxes everywhere! I am still going to win this cold fight! Not giving up!
Again this morning I forced myself to eat something consistent because I'm taking this strong medicine so I had a slice of egg bread with a got black coffee cup! Anything warm will do for me right now..!
I haven't worked out and I feel blah! I can barely walk up the stairs (4 floors) at work without catching my breath, I want this cold to go away!!!Hubby is back tomorrow that will be a bonus and he will for sure make me feel better and we'll be able to go and workout together! I can't wait !! xox
Lunch was very simple I brought some salad and tuna but since I can't taste anything I just had 1 cup of chicken noodle soup at my friends house! She was kind enough to let me take her soup :) I also had a cheese stick on the side and some Jasmin tea!
I munched on strawberries that I sliced up this morning and added some chia seeds on it to keep me full!This was actually a winner and made me feel better! Love fruits!!
Le diner ce soir is vegetable soup (knorr) It's very good and has a good taste to it!With a slice of cheese bread which I added some warm butter to it!
I'm probably going to bed early today and watch some netflix and sleep my cold/flu away!

Birds are singing it must be hump day
Didn't sleep alright yesterday night.. I kept waking up at night... So weird!
I even had My nighttime neo citron before going to bed... Hopefully won't be the same today!
Breakfast was again nothing special today..I started to cough this morning and that's not a good sign! I immediately took a buckleys daytime pill for cold/flu, and drank some hot coffee, I then had a Greek vanilla yogurt with some chia seeds on it!
Wasn't hungry anyway...
I packed my lunch and got my purse ready for my "sick" day at work..

After work we stopped by the bakery ( I got a drive home from my friend ) and I got a few items which weren't needed but had to have them if you know what I mean LOL!

Monday today?
I forgot I changed my alarm ring tone and totally jumped out of bed this morning.. I am sure I would've won the big prize on Funniest video if that was videotaped lol!
I had a pleasant surprise today when I tried my jeans this morning.. They were suddenly big on me!!
I just bought them!! I couldn't believe it! ( I kept thanking myself for buying a few belt over the weekend) This is exactly what I need to keep motivating myself and continue to work hard! My goal is almost completed I need to pull this last stretch!
I remember when I started on this journey on January 1st of this year, all I kept telling myself is that one morning I will wake up and be able to try my old clothes on and really see the difference form my old body and that then it would've been all worth it!! And I can tell you it is!!!

I wasn't too hungry this morning so breakfast was simple and I had some strawberries with chia seeds sprinkled all over it (2 teaspoons) about 120kcal with some black coffee no sugar..
I didn't have a in between snack.. I dont find myself hungry lately my throat is hurting but I am not letting it take over! I had some jasmin tea at work and had a halls!
Lunch was fun today two of my girlfriend came over for lunch..I had a big salad with a light kraft dressing ( Light italian dressing ) with a side of smoked salmon (220kcal) total and half of an avocado! Love avocados but they are so high in calories!!
My snack today was my little fizzy suckers, they are so good and a kick of energy!
Le souper ce soir is ..roll drum... my favorite Chicken & Coriander wonton soup! I really didn't want to eat anything else other than soup.. I also made some organic green tea to sip on! I did add some chia seeds in my soup to keep me full until tomorrow morning since I didn't eat a lot today!
I tried to add all the pictures tonight into one and the resolution got all screwed up! So sorry guys!

Day 5 of my marathon training
Hubby left today for another crazy week! Hate to see him leave but I know he would stay if he could!
Breakfast this morning fibre bar! Missed them in the morning! Feels like its been a while since I had them last! Woke up 30 mins before my shift started!
Unfortunately I worked today!( yeah I know sucks right?! ) but it wasn't busy at all and I was able to leave early (11am). I got a lot I things done concerning our move! Days are going by so quickly and I honestly can't believe that we will be moving in our new place soon!!!
Yesterday I cleaned up 2 rooms ( laundry and bathroom) threw out what is not needed and did my gave away pile! I honestly feel much better and finally breath? lol I know I'm a clean freak..
Rather it be clean than messy Right?
Since hubby is not here I can't get myself to the gym so I decided to work out at home..One of my workout buddy sent me this insanity work out!! IT'S A KILLAHH!!!
I almost puked my guts out and I thought that my cardio was fine! Yeah right!! lol
I need to keep it up everyday!
I honestly find it really hard to motivate myself to get up and workout ..I know that it will be worth it and I already see the difference but it's the getting up to do it that I find hard. I am going to look up some workout motivator podcast on Itunes! I am sure that it will be a plus to have it!
Lunch today was subway I was so hungry and had a 12inch steak and cheese sub...total of 720kcal!! OH BOY.. This was a VERY high calorie lunch but we were in a rush and couldn't think of anything healthy around! I promised myself that starting tomorrow I will watch everything that I will put in my mouth! ( I gained 2lbs) - My goal this week is to loose these 2lbs and more if I can!
Since hubby is gone for the week I might just run/walk home if it's nice!!
Other than that I am not hungry since I had a pretty big lunch so I will stick with my famous green tea and catch up on some shows on Netflix. xoxo

Joyeuse Pâques!
Happy Easter everyone!
Breakfast was fast this morning, got up,showered and got ready very fast for Church this morning! I set the coffee machine yesterday so we wouldn't have to worry about it and hubby was kind enough to make bagels this morning..
Breakfast consisted of low fat cream cheese, 2/3 ounces of smoked salmon, red onions and all that on a Montreal bagel! Yum!!!
Today is a special day! I hope everyone is spending it with their loved ones! We are far from our family do we decided to go to church this morning! We went to the 12 o'clock presentation and I have to say that it was a BEAUTIFUL mass this morning!
Before leaving for church I quickly Skyped with my cousin who had a lovely surprise for me :) (I'll keep you posted on that one) and who I wished a Happy Easter!
Even tho we are miles away she is like a sister to me which made me realize that there are people that come and go in our lives and some are meant to stay! ALWAYS surrounds yourself with good & positive people also the people that want you help!
After church we were a bit hungry and decided to try out a new restaurant on the way home.. Paris Grill ...I have to admit that this wasn't a good decision and very high priced for what is on the menu. I had a croque monsieur and a soup du jour (corn soup) and hubby went for a canard poutine and a soupe du jour.. We both didn't finish our plate and were very unsatisfied with the menu and the food. The service was very good and quick. I would not recommend this place to anyone that's for sure..
We planned ce dinner ce soir since Friday. We bought mussels at costco and decided to try it out at home.. I am not keen on anything that doesn't look good and that looks like insects.. Hubby made this really good sauce/soup with whine wine,parsley,bacon,red onions,garlic...The sauce was really good but I wasn't able to finish my plate, I tried really hard but No can do.. The texture was definitely too much for me! lol I'll just sip on some tea and finish off the black forest cake that we got yesterday for Easter!

Pick up the pace on Saturday!
Dring...Dring...dring... The phone ring was our alarm clock this morning.
Felt like it was never ending.. We were too lazy to get out of bed to pick up the phone lol we don't have caller Id and voicemail.. I hope it wasn't important? Lol
I was very happy to fit into my now *skinny* jeans (size29) that I fit in perfectly!!! I was so happy and kept reminding it to me!! Hard work does pay off!!
If I can do it everybody can doit!! Believe in yourselves!!
Today my to do list was:

3.clean the house
4.finish the laundry
5.relax with hubby
I'm starting to cough I hope that I'm not coming down with a cold!! Very Bad timing right now! I got a tons of Buckleys pills and sirop... Im ready to fight it!lol

I tried this new cardio already set program! Today was all about pushing myself to finish my 30min! We should've went and worked out in the morning it would've been easier! To be honest with you all, Jillian Podcast is what motivated me today! Her topics are dead on questions that we keep asking ourselves and she is just Great!
Lunch was Villa Medina ( Fast Food) but they have really good low carb food!
I had a shish taouk plate (with the pita); the plate comes with a pita, rice and potatoes, taboulé and chicken...I didn't eat my potatoes but I ate the rest! After logging what I ate for lunch I still had another 980kcal to go! Not bad..
We were out and about looking for a new television for our new place...I am still looking out for a really good deal...I'll keep you posted!

Day off
Alarm rang at 7:30am... who are we kidding it's a long weekend and between me an you I need my beauty sleep lol so I snoozed a but and then finally woke up at 9:00am! We didn't have a lot of coffee left but I still made some when I got up and turned the pc on! Skype date with my cousin today! Oh yeah!!!
Coffee wasn't that great this morning it wasn't that strong :( so I just had my grapefruit with some water! Btw great choice for a breakfast!
Skype date went well like always! we skyped for 4hours and finally end up hanging up :( I feel like everytime we talk even tho we talk for 4-5hours each time we still have a lot of things to talk about lol! ( and yes we are women ) lol
Today was our day off from the killing marathon training!! And since hubby needed a haircut and I needed jeans we decided to go shopping! Today was a winner!!!
I got 2 pair of jeans, 4 shirts and a few other stuff! I am glad I found jeans that fit well!! Ive been looking for jeans a month ago and I couldn't find anything nice or that would fit well.. the jeans that I have now are literally falling out of me!! It was about time!!
Lunch and Dinner is heated chili from Tuesday! I am not feeling well.. I guess all that walking around today didn't do me some good.. I was feeling sick this morning but how could I pass a shopping day? lol I took a Neo citron and will probably end up going to bed early today!

Coffee wasn't that great this morning it wasn't that strong :( so I just had my grapefruit with some water! Btw great choice for a breakfast!
Skype date went well like always! we skyped for 4hours and finally end up hanging up :( I feel like everytime we talk even tho we talk for 4-5hours each time we still have a lot of things to talk about lol! ( and yes we are women ) lol
Today was our day off from the killing marathon training!! And since hubby needed a haircut and I needed jeans we decided to go shopping! Today was a winner!!!

Day 4 marathon training*
Hunger games yesterday was awesome!!! A bit long but good!
Yea it's Friday today ( really just Thursday) and we have a Long weekend!Well deserved!
Gym gym and gym! This is the perfect time to work out and catch up on my training! I found this great marathon app that's helps you train! I'll give it a try!
Breakfast this morning was Tim hortons coffee and a vanilla yogurt brought from home with chia seeds aall over it! Hubby had a meeting at 8am so we woke up early and rushed out at 7:15am! I was able to clean up my desk and focus on the blog..Like I said I am going to change the look and the post a bit to focus a bit more on my workouts and my transition to eating healthy!
Lunch was ok today again I'm not really hungry these past few days when it's lunch time. I feel like if I eat something consistent it makes me sleepy in the afternoon so I try as much to stay with something light...
Had some chili that hubby made yesterday afternoon and it cooked overnight! It smelled delicious in the apartment and was very good! Love his food he is the best cook ever!
A few days ago we stopped at metro and picked up 2 passion fruits.Hubby never had them before and I have to admit that it's not a really go to fruit especially if you never tried it before! Unfortunately after 2 really (SCRATCH) spoons he didn't want to eat it anymore! so I ended up eating it all by myself.
Gym today was intense! I did one hour on the elliptical machine and 15 mins on the stairs master, and joined hubby and finished off with a 15 mins of abbs exercise Ouch! But I needed to get back in the Game!
I literally wasn't able to walk out of the gym let alone get in the car! ( we have a jeep and you need to jump up to get in- I'm short lol ). A while back I bought this eucalyptus sea salt for baths and this was the perfect opportunity to use some of it! It felt great and relaxing!
Le diner ce soir is date night!! We are going to this meat place...La Milsa and it's $30 for unlimited meat,salad and rice! Its really good and the meat is well cooked!

Day -3 Marathon Training*
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Today is my day off! Hubby was in a meeting from 3-6:30pm and my spinning class was at 5pm! Unfortunately I coudn't make it on time, so I decided to clean up around the house.. My calorie goal was 250 today and I totally failed this one ! Tomorrow is going to be a hell of a workout I need to loose 500kcal to make up for today!
We went to bed early yesterday and I had a full 8 hours of sleep! It felt really good to wake up with energy and not feeling tired, even hubby noticed the difference!
Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 cup of coffee! This morning I was craving eggs but the ones that the yolk isn't cooked all the way! Loved it! I brought a banana to work for my early snack.
Hubby was kinda busy today so we didn't have lunch together.So I prepare my lunch this morning..
Lunch: Homemade burger from yesterday dinner and the guacamole.I didn't want to eat the bread because it was high in calories so I opted for a rice cake and spreaded the guacamole all over it accompanied with onions and a tomato slice. I had the burger on the side! This was again very tasty!
Le diner ce soir: chinese wonton soup (chicken&coriander frozen wonton + spinach + organic chicken broth) This total up around 144kcal and I might add a slice of breadon the side it but I really am not hungry! And my fave is this chocolate mousse from Jell-0 (60kcal)
Tomorrow is our Friday! Can't wait for the long weekend and the beautiful weather this weekend! xoxoxo

Day 2 - Marathon training*
Day 2 of my marathon training..
Before going to bed yesterday I honestly tought that I would be sore this morning but to my surprise I wasn't! I knew that I couldve done more and better at the gym yesterday but I chose to stick under the 1 hour mark because I didn't want to scare myself off! I thought maybe another 30-45 mins on the eleptical would've been good but I promised to myself that I won't focus on the what if and I should have It's just not right for my state of mind!
We did stop at the grocery for some cat food and I couldn't help myself and went straight to the organic isle but did not buy anything that I didn't need! I saw a lot of quinoa packaging and food related products but I never tried this before and not sure If I will like it.. Ill look up a recipe and maybe try it out...

Every morning I get excited to eat breakfast! This morning I tried a recipe that I saw in one of the blog I read often... Breakfast: Oats, 2/3cups of skim milk, 1 tablespoon of chia seeds and once its ready add a teaspoon of almond butter on it! It was delicious! I've never thought about breakfast being an important meal but now I do see a difference when I take time to sit and have a good breakfast in the morning... plus as they say Breakfast is the key to weight loss ? (Right?)
This week Hubby and I have lunch together, we try to see & spend time with each other when he is home.Lunch: Roast beef with gravy from Sunday souper on a thin ciabatta bread ( 110kcal) sides: sliced mangoes and apples
I believe that it's very important to focus on what you want to do in life.. When I look back at my life a year ago I knew I wanted to loose some weight but I never believed in myself to finally face my fears and do it.. To be honest with you guys, I stuffed my face up until December 31st and on January 1st I downloaded the Lose it application and started logging everything I put in my mouth..It was very hard to switch everything.. I then realized that I needed to go on a short term diet to help me motivated! So I did the South Beach Diet and after the strict 2 week phase 1which help me loose the first 10lbs!And that's where it all begins....

Le diner ce soir : We are making home made burgers (5 ounces of extra lean ground beef,1egg, 2 teaspoon of bread crumbs, 1/4 cups of chopped onions, 1 clove of garlic, and coriander) Perfect for 2 people!Also to add to that we had some low calorie burger buns at home (170kcal each) and a side of sweet potato fries.
I also made some guacamole to spread on our burger buns ( 1 avocado, lemon juice,red onions -less than 1/4cup-, hot peppers, salt and coriander ) This is hubby's favorite!
I was very hungry when I got home from the gym so I sliced up some fresh Strawberries (2cups) and ate my hunger away!

April's fool
Morning everyone =)
I was wide awake at 6:45am this morning! I love to wake up with a clean house! Laundry is done, bathroom is perfectly clean, closet is clean and floor/carpet is shinning :) Before going to bed yesterday I set the coffee so that I don't have to worry about that in the morning! Today is day 1 of my workout/marathon preparation! I am really excited! Now that I am used to logging my food everyday ( I actually like it ) I am able to control what I eat and most importantly know how to eat with moderation! I also downloaded a few application to prepare myself for the marathon! I am scared but mostly excited of the outcome! Hubby and I talked about it and we opted to take a gym membership so that I could work out during the week! Funny thing is that I was looking forward to spinning class today! I know..I know.. I am crazy but my spinning buddy wasn't feeling well so I decided to workout on my own today! I listen to Jillian Michael's podcast! You guys need to listen to her! She and her staff are awesome! Love their topics! She is my daily motivation.
You guys should check it out! I started by doing a 5min start master to bring up my cardio and then went to the eleptical for 30 min and walked for 10 mins (hill mode)
I Burned 440 kcal today at the gym, which I think is really good for a first day but I am a bit disappointed...I am hoping to loose 20lbs and gain about 5/6 lbs of muscles! In this case it's a waiting game! Tomorrow is always a better day*
This morning while I was getting ready for work I couldn't help myself but to think of our amazing trip and realized that we are 2 months away from it!! we've been so focused on the house,packing..literally our new beginning that we totally left the trip in the background! How could we??! So I decided that every morning I'll write down a little something to remind ourselves of it and make our big move easier for us!
It's definitely harder to go to work everyday and realize that I won't be there in 1 1/2 months! I made some good friends there and enjoyed my time but I can't complain hubby and I have been blessed with a good and healthy life! I know I'll be able to start over again and keep in touch with my current friends!
I have decided to change the blog a bit and focus of my weight loss journey, there will be more talks and topic about weight loss starting next week :)
Tonight we are going to use our free movie pass and go watch the Hunger Games.. I heard it was a good movie so I can't wait!I'll bring some 100 kcal popcorn from home to make sure I stay on track! I hope everyone had a good Monday! xo

Hung over.
4 week day ahead, we can do it! =)
We got home at 3am this morning! My plan yesterday night was to stick to my 3 coors light (103perbottle) entered in my log but I ended up having another one! Now mind you that I don't drink alcohol and that when I do it's a mix drink that doesn't taste like alcohol! ( meaning that it has a low percentage of alcohol in it). Back a couple years ago, hubby and I planned a nice birthday club night out for me... We had the limo, the V.I.P booth in a nice club and all my friends..!! Let me tell u... I will not go in details but all I can say is that I ended up at his place ( back then we didn't live together) under the blanket with a BIG glass of water and advils beside the night table at midnight!
I felt so bad the next day because we had everything planned out, booked and spent a lot of money for my birthday party! Since that day I can't and drink tequila.... lol I never was a big fan of alcohol so I just stopped drinking alcohol and sticked to my glass of water.. And this is why I feel like I feel today.. 4 beers was def too much for me , I am light headed today and know that I am dehydrated and I have a glass/bottle of water with me at all times..
One thing I wanted to talk about today is that I realized that when I was looking for the famous chia seeds, I had a really hard time finding a medium size package for a good price.. Today we stopped at Homesense and found the perfect medium size chia seeds package!! It was the same size that I baught earlier on but for $7 cheaper! Homesense sells it for $7.99! I def recommend this to anyone..
I also was amazing with all the gluten free goodies they had! I got myself some gluten free pretzels for $4.99 and the best part of it is thats it's 40 pretzels for 190kcal.Can't wait to try it!
Hubby had planned another surprise today! We went for a nice 1 hour walk to this beautiful outdoor place! We were lucky and saw some ducks on our trail!
I can't wait for summer, my goal is to be outside every weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather!
We got home at around 4ish and since I promised myself that I would clean up the house, I went straight to the laundry room and started a load of laundry, then went to clean the bathroom and ended up in our bedroom! I finally tackled this messy closet and reorganized everything! I can finally breath! Cleaning does make me feel better! I also packed away the clothes that don't fit, don't wear and winter gears!
Tonight hubby is making on of my favorite meal, roast beef with his own gravy I am so lucky to have a amazing cook at home :)
